Torque wrench
Dead blow hammer or mallet
Small flat screwdriver
Loctite (blue threadlocker)
Suspension fork air pump (for KKE forks)

Unboxing & Preparation
Open the box and remove components:
Save zip ties and packing materials for reuse.
Remove: handlebars, front wheel, charger box, seat, display, fenders, and peg hardware.
Locate your keys:
Keys are in a small box inside the main packaging.
Remove battery:
Pull seat release latch and remove seat.
Push the rear latch button and pull battery toward the rear of the bike.
Unplug battery connector and set battery aside for charging.
Charge the battery:
Use the included 84V 9A charger.
Plug battery in and verify charge level (typically ships 70–80% charged).
Avoid placing the charger near your filming area—fan hum is audible.
Install Front Wheel
Remove axle:
Loosen pinch bolts on the fork using 8mm Allen.
Use a dead blow and small screwdriver to tap the axle out.
Do not hammer the axle directly—threads can be damaged.
Prepare axle and spacers:
Lightly grease axle and rubber edges of spacers.
Position one spacer into left fork leg.
Insert wheel with brake rotor aligned into left fork leg.
Slide axle through, add second spacer on right, and push axle fully in.
Tighten components:
Finger-tighten axle bolt with 8mm Allen.
Alternate tightening pinch bolts evenly, then snug the axle bolt.
Torque all bolts to spec.
Inspect & Secure Rotors
Check both front and rear rotors:
Confirm they are 3mm thick with Torx or hex rotor bolts.
Remove each rotor bolt one at a time, apply blue Loctite, reinstall and torque to spec.
Do this for both front and rear to prevent future vibration or loosening.
Install Handlebars & Controls
Install throttle and brake lever:
Slide throttle onto handlebar before installing bars in stem.
Lightly snug bolts with 4mm Allen. Finalize throttle angle and snap-back function.
Mount handlebars:
Insert into direct-mount stem and hand-tighten the four clamp bolts.
Adjust bar position to your preference (stem has 3 adjustable positions).
Install reflectors:
Thread into sides of fork legs or handlebar area.
Brake Switch Connection & Setup
Locate and connect brake motor cutoff switches:
Remove plastic spacers from brake connectors.
Match HEGO-style male/female connectors and align pins properly.
Click securely into place—do not force.
Optional:
Disconnect motor cutoffs if you prefer throttle control during aggressive riding or wheelies.
(SRPNT does not yet have app-based toggling for this feature.)
Install Front Fender, Chain Guard & Display
Fender and chain guard:
Use supplied bolts (4mm Allen) with Loctite.
Do not overtighten; secure just enough to hold in place.
Chain guide is metal with a plastic liner—ensure snug fit.
Display:
Use included 4mm bolts and aluminum mount.
Plug in using keyed connector—listen for two clicks.
Leave slightly loose if you want to adjust visibility while riding.
Install Pegs & Frame Brace
Footpeg Installation:
Use included locking nuts—no Loctite required.
Consider your preferred peg position (middle by default).
REV Rides offers upgraded pegs and colors.
Frame Brace Positioning:
Three positions: front, middle, rear.
Rear is recommended for extra support if pegs are set forward.
Battery Installation
Insert battery:
Slide in from the rear until fully seated.
Connect battery leads using keyed plug—press until latched.
Lock the battery connector using the side button.
Replace underseat port cover and seat.
Zip Tie & Cable Management
Secure cables:
Zip tie throttle and brake lines to prevent movement.
Tuck wiring behind metal cable guides where applicable.
Clip zip tie tails and rotate them out of sight for a clean finish.
Final Steps Before Riding
Remove protective plastics and stickers
Check tire pressure
Check chain slack and lube the chain
Clean and re-lube every dirt ride or weekly for street use.
Expect chain stretch during the first 100–300 miles.
Check spoke tension after 50 miles
Refer to manual or upcoming REV Rides tutorial for truing wheels.
Adjust suspension
Front fork is adjustable KKE air fork (use proper shock pump).
Rear shock is preload and rebound adjustable.
Double check throttle snap-back and brake pressure

Maintenance Reminders
Before every ride:
Check brakes, throttle return, and chain tension

Clean chain, check spoke tension, inspect for loose bolts
First 50–100 miles:
Expect initial stretching of chain and bedding-in of brakes
Brake Bedding Process:
Accelerate → hard brake → repeat multiple times to seat pads
Cleaning Tips:
Remove battery before washing
Cover electronics and battery connector with plastic
Avoid spraying directly at controls or screen
