E Ride Pro SS/SR Series Assembly Video

Introduction: E Ride Pro SS & SR Series

In this box-to-road guide, we’ll walk you through the complete unboxing and assembly process, along with some helpful tips and tricks so you can go from crate to throttle twist with confidence.

This is a hands-on, step-by-step guide to help you build your E Ride Pro SS or SR series bike, the right way, using the right tools, and avoiding common mistakes that can set you back.

We'll be assembling an E Ride Pro SS 3.0, but these assembly instructions will guide you through setting up at E Ride Pro SS or SR series, e-moto with only a few slight differences.

Key Differences: Your SR or SS 3.0 may not have a breaker on the battery. This was updated in later version of these bikes. The SS 2.0 may have a slightly different battery connector.

What Comes in the Box?|

Inside the box, you’ll find: (In our example)

  • E Ride Pro SS 3.0 electric dirt bike (frame + rear wheel mounted)
  • Front fender and rear hugger
  • Front number plate
  • Tool kit with all necessary Allen keys and wrenches
  • Battery (pre-installed)
  • Charger and instruction manual
  • Display unit
  • Foot pegs (right and left, marked)
  • Axle spacers, bolts, and zip ties
  • Bluetooth module (pre-installed)
  • And yes, a branded keychain—small detail, but nice touch

Tools Needed

The included tool kit is solid, but having your own tools handy can make the process smoother. You’ll mainly need:

Step-by-Step E Ride Pro SS 3.0 Assembly Instructions

1. Remove Packaging & Check Contents

Start by unboxing everything and removing plastic coverings. Take inventory to make sure nothing’s missing. Set aside your tools, charger, and manuals.

2. Battery Removal & Safety Prep

  • Insert your key into the side ignition lock and turn to release the battery lid.
  • Power off the breaker and disconnect the waterproof battery cable.
  • Carefully lift the ~40 lb battery out of the frame.
  • Pro tip: Remove the Bluetooth module first to avoid damage.

3. Handlebar & Brake Setup

  • Slide the brake lever onto the handlebar.
  • Loosen the throttle clamp before sliding it into position.
  • Use the direct-mount bar clamp to loosely secure the bars.
  • Align the sweep and rise for comfort, then snug the bolts down using a cross pattern.

4. Release Suspension

Straddle the bike and use your body weight to compress the forks. This will safely release the tension from shipping.

5. Install the Front Wheel

  • Loosen pinch bolts and remove the axle.
  • Grease the axle and install the front wheel with spacers.
  • Align the brake caliper with the rotor.
  • Snug everything down evenly and avoid over-tightening aluminum-on-aluminum contact points.

6. Mount the Front Fender & Brake Line Bracket

  • Use a dab of Loctite on all fender bolts.
  • Install the front brake line tab to secure the brake hose properly.
  • Avoid excess tension on the line to prevent wear or pullout.

7. Foot Peg Installation

  • Align and install the cast foot pegs using a 17mm wrench.
  • Make sure they fold backward (not forward) to prevent damage during a crash.
  • Choose your desired peg position using the slotted mount plate.

8. Install Display & Connect Wires

  • Mount the display by aligning the notches and snapping it into place.
  • Route the wire cleanly and tuck it beneath the bar.
  • Use zip ties to manage throttle, brake, and display cables—clean lines are key for safety and aesthetics.

9. Reinstall the Battery

  • Ensure no cables are pinched during reinstallation.
  • Slide in the battery at an angle and reconnect both the main power and communication cables.
  • Replace the Bluetooth module.

10. Power On & Configure the Display

  • Turn the key to the “on” position (it has two steps—be patient).
  • Navigate display settings: Eco/Sport mode, regen level (0, 1, 2), and lighting.
  • The display shows temps (battery, motor, controller), trip data, and battery percentage.
  • You’ll also find USB-A and USB-C ports for charging accessories.

Important Notes:

  • The E Ride Pro SS 2.0 & 3.0 currently include a Bluetooth module, but the companion app is still in development. Compatibility will roll out in a future firmware update.
  • Loctite is strongly recommended for high-vibration areas like the fender, foot pegs, and axle pinch bolts.
  • Keep zip ties trimmed and cables clean—don’t let sloppy routing ruin your build.
